Charles Koenig

Charles G. “Chuck” Koenig, 75, passed away August 16, 2023 in Glenview, Illinois.
Beloved father of Anne (Perry) Schroeder, Beth (William) Schwartz and Charles “Scott”
(Heidi) Koenig. Proud grandfather of Perry “PJ” Schroeder, Jr. and Matthew Koenig. Chuck
is also survived by his friend and former wife, Luanne Lenick and many nieces, nephews
and cherished friends and co-workers. Retired 20+ year employee of Flying Tigers and
retired 25+ year employee of FedEx. Member of Kelvin Park-Willing Masonic Lodge
No. 1075, Order of Scottish Rite, Medinah Shriners Lodge.
Visitation will take place Friday, August 18, 2023, at the M J Suerth Funeral Home,
6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago from 5 – 8 pm.
The funeral will be Saturday, August 19, 2023. Lying in State at Edison Park Lutheran Church,
6628 N. Oliphant Avenue (at Avondale Avenue) from 9:00 am until the time of the
funeral service at 11:00 am.
The graveside interment will be at Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois. In lieu of flowers
