Diane H. Snook

Diane H. Snook, 93, of Chicago, IL passed away on April 30, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Manfred "Bill" Snook. She is survived by daughters Carla (David) Ramey of Healdsburg, CA and Jane (Michael) Rix of Chicago. Grand children Valerie (Garrett) Baruch, Brian (Sara) Rix, John (Courtney) Rix, Claire (Ivan) Pejovic and Alan Ramey; Great grandmother of Dahlia, Rosalie, Violet, Lily, the late Sophia and Beorn. Sister of Walter (the late Linda) Slager of Chicago. Diane was preceded in death by her son, Stephen and her sister Patricia (the late Clyde) Frick.

Diane was a pie baker extraordinaire, Sunday school teacher, artist, quilt maker and piano player. She loved gardening, reading, sewing, cocktails and playing cards. She will be missed by her family, her friends and her neighbors. Our profound thanks to the entire team at Residential Healthcare Group Hospice, whose assistance was invaluable.

A memorial visitation and service will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago from 11:00 am until the time of memorial service at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Diane's name to the Anti-Cruelty Society, American Indian College Fund or the charity of your choice.
