Francis Joseph Paukert, Sr.

Francis Joseph Paukert, Sr., 77, of Niles, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Linda nee Aykroid who recently passed away on June 10, 2025. Loving father of Frank Jr. (Jackie) of Land O' Lakes, Wisconsin, Jeanette Wehrenberg of Walpole, Massachusetts, and Andy, CFD, (Rebecca) of Chicago, Illinois. Cherished grandfather of Walter, Murray, Payton, Xavier, May, Henry, Jack, Joseph, and Emily. Dear brother of Bill (Jane) Paukert of Hawthorne, California. 

Frank was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on May 2, 1948 to Myron and Sophia nee Jurgella Paukert. He retired from a 32 year career as a paramedic with the Chicago Fire Department. Frank spent many years volunteering with St. Juliana Cub Scout Pack 3965 and Boy Scout Troop 965. He enjoyed attending sporting events, especially those of his children and grandchildren. He was the mastermind of many practical and situational jokes.

Memorial visitation for Frank and Linda will be held on Sunday July 6, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Heneghan-Suerth Directors, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. Funeral Mass Monday 10:00 a.m. at St. Juliana Church 7201 N. Oketo, Chicago. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to charity of your choice.
