 Irene C. Zimmer nee Alwin, 83, of Park Ridge at peace May 7, 2023. Beloved wife for 60 years of the late Donald who passed away April 11, 2023. Loving mother of Donna (Ed) Samano and Dave (Lisa). Proud grandma of Edward Jr., Michelle (Mike) Dula, Billy, Christian, Sebastian, Matthew, and Bella. Great-grandma of Laura Margaret. Dear daughter of the late Joseph and Jessica Alwin. Fond sister of the late Edmund (Janet) Alwin. Sister in-law of Rosemary Zimmer and the late  Robert and Delmar Zimmer, and Margaret Sawyer. Dear aunt and friend of many.

Visitation Sunday May 14, 2023, at the M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago from 3-8 pm.

Funeral  Monday 9:30 am prayers at funeral home to St Paul of the Cross Church where Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Memorials appreciated to imermanangels.org, one on one cancer support
