James McAleer

James McAleer, 82, Native of Larne, Co. Antrim. Beloved husband for 58 years to Noreen, nee O’Connor. Loving father of Karen (Quinn) Brennan. Proud grandfather of Hannah (Fiancé Tom McGovern), Austin, Connor and James.  Fond brother of Rose (the late Robert) Barth, John (the late Arleen), Patrick (Maureen), Michael (Patricia) and the late Mary LeFebvre. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired 50+ year member of Carpenters Union Local 1. Jim was an avid cyclist in Ireland and  here in the Chicago area. 

Visitation Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N . Northwest Hwy., Chicago from 4-7 p.m..  Funeral Monday 11:00 a.m. prayers at funeral home to St. Juliana Church, 7201 N. Oketo (at Touhy).  Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am Interment private.  In lieu of flowers memorials to your favorite charity appreciated.
