Jeff Szyszka, 61, of Edison Park, at peace May 30, 2025. Beloved husband of Debbie nee Casey. Loving father of Ashley (John) Wenzl, Alexis, and Addison. Proud papa of Casey and Dylan.

Son of Roger and the late Marlene nee Feigl. Dear brother of Renee (Gerald) Sliwicki. Fond uncle and friend of many. Jeff always enjoyed the company of his many four-legged friends.

Jeff went by many names, Da Hammer, Selfie King, Snacks, Pinecone, Cabana boy and the Grill Master.  He could fix most anything and even if he didn’t know how, he’d do it anyway sometimes without the desired result. Jeff loved to make people laugh, he loved to fish, loved to golf, loved the Bears, the Sox (even the Cubs) and his family. When they told Jeff he had cancer, he didn’t think twice. He didn’t want to leave his family and fought it with everything he had and then some.  He had a smile until the very end and he will be missed by every single person that knew him.

Visitation Wednesday June 4, 2025 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Heneghan-Suerth Directors, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave. Chicago. Funeral Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
