KOTAS

Joan H. Kotas, 80, of Lombard.  Beloved sister of Patricia (Joseph) Wilson, Philip (Monica) Kotas, Linda (Randy) Reynolds, Joseph (Diane) Kotas and the late Barbara (the late Robert) Hofbauer.  Dear aunt of Janet (Neil) Doherty, Susan (David Melcher) Hofbauer, Michael (Valerie) Hofbauer, David (Geena Sondy) Kotas, John Kotas, Michele (Nicholas) Georges, Tiffany (Brad) Keck, Jennifer (Paul) Simpson, Taylor Kotas, and Austin Kotas.  Loving great aunt of  Julia, Dan, and Colin Doherty; Jacob and Evan Hofbauer;  Mara and the late Washburne Robert Melcher;  Aviana and Noah Georges; Kyle, Joel, Evan, and Claire Keck; and Mario and Anthony Gonzalez.  Caring and giving friend to many.  Accomplished and admired educator of 48 years at Chicago Vocational High School and Oak Park River Forest High School.  Her family and friends loved her deeply and have been proud to be a part of her life.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11am Saturday July 24, 2021 at the Morton Arboretum followed by a luncheon and visitation till 3pm. www.mortonarb.org
Interment Friday July 23, 2021 1:30pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL
