Kathryn Harriet Kontos, 82, at peace on January 24, 2025 in McHenry, Illinois. It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Kathie, our beloved aunt, and friend to all those whose lives she touched.

Beloved daughter of the late Mary Brown nee Leodler and William Kontos. Dear sister and best friend of the late Frances (the late Joseph) Kirschner. Cherished aunt of Lisa (Matthew) Overbey and Jeffrey (Maria) Kirschner. Adoring great aunt of Cole and Brendan Overbey and Loren Kirschner.

Visitation Friday February 7, 2025, 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, Heneghan-Suerth Directors, 8025 W. Golf Rd., Niles. Funeral Saturday February 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
