Nick Honcharuk, Jr., 91, of Prospect Heights formerly of Park Ridge, at peace Sept. 28, 2023.

Beloved husband of the late Joanne Honcharuk, nee Murphy. Loving father of Nicholas III (Lisa), John (Karolyn) and Sara (Robert) Horak. Proud grandfather of Gianna, Alyssa, Elizabeth, Erin, William, Andrew, Nicholas Steven and Anna.

Retired 15+ year employee of Keebler Corp. as manager of facility planning and former chairman and member of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Park Ridge for 31 years. Proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Tank commander Arctic Circle. Proud alumnus of the University of Illinois.

Visitation Friday, October 6, 2023 from 4-9 pm at M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 Northwest Hwy., Chicago. Funeral Saturday 11am at The Bridge Community Church 302 E. Euclid Avenue, Prospect Heights, IL. Entombment with Military Honors at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Nick's favorite charities were Misericordia misercordia.com  and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation nationalmssociety.org.
