Obituary

Nora Hieber Schiewe, 98, called home to glory August 30, 2023. Former resident of Chicago, Berkeley and Park Ridge before moving home to heaven.  Loved daughter of Reverend Emil and Helen nee Gongoll Hieber.  Cherished sister of Lester, Mildred, Martin, Armin, Rita, Loretta, Carl and Eldred. Beloved wife and reunited in heaven with Marsh Schiewe.  Cherished Mom of Karen (Chuck Mueller); Linda (John Wolf) and Donna (Bo) Johnson.  Devoted Grandmother of Michael, Matthew (Edi), Megan (Mark), Daniel Gallagher; John (Julie), Lindsey, Anna, and Nathan Wolf.  Caring Aunt and Sister-in-law, sweet Great Grandmother of eight.  Faithful member of First Bethlehem, Chicago; Concordia, Hillside; St. Paul, Melrose Park; St. Andrews, Park Ridge.  Tireless volunteer. Ever hopeful Cubs fan.  Strong woman of faith in Jesus.  In lieu of flowers to honor Nora’s memory please consider a memorial donation to: St. Andrews Lutheran School, Park Ridge, Scholarship fund or St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Park Ridge.

A memorial visitation will take place Saturday, September 30, 2023, at St Andrew Lutheran Church, 260 N Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge, Il from 10: 00am until the time of Life Celebration at 11:00 am.  The interment of cremains was private.
