Patricia Murphy Nellis Rasmussen

Patricia Murphy Nellis Rasmussen, 95, died peacefully on Sunday, July 30, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born February 20, 1928 in Chicago, Ill to Agnes and Edward Murphy. Beloved wife of 43 years to the late Leif Rasmussen who passed away in 1992. Loving mother of Michael, Mary (Dan), Brian(Tina), Timothy, Christopher (Shobana) Kathleen (John), Robert (Jackie), Patricia (Lawrence), and Julie (Carl) Soldenwagner. Proud grandmother of 29, Great grandmother of 5. Dear sister of the late Bobby, Donald (Pat), George (Lana) and her Godchild Anne Black. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Patricia attended Notre Dame High School and DePaul University. She was a lifelong lover of all animals. Very devote Catholic in many parishes on the northwest side of Chicago and Park Ridge.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago from 3 - 8 pm. Funeral Thursday family and friends meeting 9:45 am, at St. Juliana Church, 7201 N Oketo Ave (at Touhy). Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. Interment Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, Illinois.
