Richard E. Kufner

Richard E. Kufner, 76, of Niles formerly of Norwood Park.  Passed away on June 1, 2023. Retired Park Ridge Firefighter for 45 years.  Veteran of US Air Force.  Beloved husband of the late Georgine C. Kufner, nee Vernon.  Loving father of Brian ( Mytzy) Kufner, Mark (Jessica) Kufner and Bridget Kufner.  Proud grandfather of Nathan, Matthew, Marin, Maeve, Luca and Ana Marie. Dear brother of Jack, David and Mary Kufner; brother-in-law of Sandra (the late Wolfgang) Schweppe and Paula (David) Aniol. 

Visitation Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago from  3-6 pm.  Funeral will be held Monday, 9:30 am prayers at funeral home to St. Juliana Church. 7201 N Oketo (at Touhy). Where Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am      In lieu of flowers memorials to your favorite charity would be appreciated.   Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
