Robert Battalini, 77, US Army Veteran, Ret. CPD, at peace January 29, 2024. Beloved husband of Sherry nee Maulsby. Loving father of Lara Mele, Kristi Battalini and Nikki (John) Battalini-Ellis. Proud grandfather and superfan of Axel "Ax and the Hatchmen" and "CYSO Violinist" Tessa. Dear brother of Richard (Judy) Battalini. Beloved son of the late Evelyn and Leo, stepson of the late Sara Battalini. 

Bob was a Chicago Police Officer for 40 years as a Detective and Sergeant in the youth division. In retirement Bob worked for 14 years as a Master Tour Guide on the Chicago River for Wendella Tours & Cruises. Board member of the Smokehouse Bay Club and volunteer at historical museum in Marco Island, FL. Lifelong Chicago White Sox fan.  

Memorial visitation Tuesday February 6, 2024, at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. From 3:00 p.m. until time of service 6:00 p.m.. St. Jude service will be held at 5:00 p.m..
